Narrative Therapy
What is it ?
Narrative Therapy is a form of counselling. Its unique style makes it highly effective and efficient at dealing with problems. Its creative style makes it a highly suitable counselling style for all children. It was created by David Epston and Michael White - www.narrativeapproaches.com
At the root of Narrative Therapy is the process of separating the problem from the person. Such a process has allowed for Narrative Therapy to have huge success rates on dealing with highly complex issues, such as in anorexia, sensitivity in Gifted children, tricky reading for those with dyslexia and worries, Failure to Thrive, fears and depression. Many such success stories can be found in David Epston’s books - Playful Approaches to Serious Problems, Norton Books, 1997, New York (co-authored by Jennifer Freeman and Dean Lobovitis) and Biting the Hand That Starves You - Inspiring resistance to anorexia and bulimia, Norton Books, 2004, New York (co-authored by Richard Maisel and Ali Borden).

- Counselling for families.
- Highly effective counselling for EXTREMELY difficult issues - such as Anorexia, Cutting, Depression and other self-harm issues.
I work with parents and children in a highly supportive, compassionate, non-judgmental and uniquely exciting way.
